T
he islamic art are characterized with a general Unity that gather it all, as you can distinguish any piece produced in the islamic civilization in any spot of the islamic world , this it may be a secret of the islamic civilization's distinction and its great capability on coloring the artistic products in all spots with one color .

This unit didn't prevent the existence of islamic styles by which the islamic different spots are characterized in the ages of its artistic development .

Generally we can say the Omaweian style prevailed in the islamic world first affected by local arts , then the Abassian style prevailed since the establishment of the ( Abasian ) state in ( 750 AD) .

When the Abassian reign became weak since the 7th AD century , other regional styles prevailed as the Moroccan Spanish style style in north Africa and in Andalus as well as an Egyptian - Syrian style in Egypt and Syria , an othmani style in turkey and its subjected countries, then an Indian style in India.

It is our duty to be acquainted with these artistic styles and how it had characterized with special characteristics in the frame of the great islamic artistic unity .
