The Holy
Quran did not allow making images , yet it had prohibited making the statues devoted some
one else that GOD ( Allah) in Sura El Maeda 90 |
Abu Horeira said ``i heard Prophet Mohamed ( SW)
saying ``each Photographer is in hell , each image be made will become life by which he
will be tortured in Hell `` .
Ebn Abass said ``if it a matter of a must then make
trees and things of no souls ``
Ebn Abas said ``i Heard Prophet Mohamed ( SW)
saying ``the one made an image in life he will be authorized in the Day of judgement to
put life into it and he will not able to ``
This Prophibitations in the Quran for the statues
and the Preventation Hadith of Prophet Mohamed ( SW) was necessary for Islam , so that
adoration of Imagery would not return once more after terminating it .
If Images were to placed in the Mosque , the
prayers performer will be distorted , rather than bringing to the minds house of imagery ,
as mosques were specified for adoring mighty GOD ``Sura el anaam 18
It is known that imaging human or making images for
God was prohibited for the jews in El Talmuud
Therefore , plant and engineer decorations were
preferable even the plant decorations were more symbolic , in which the artist avoided
making faces and creatures in the religious places like what we see in el Sakhra`s Dome
and the Omawain Mosque or in Egypt in the decorations in Amr Ebn el as Mosque , or Ahmen
Ebn Tulun .
In the Seljukian Architecture we find images for
Animals, birds on some relegious buildings . We see on side of the ratter door for the Big
Mosque in ``Denergi ``Turkey a protrusive sculpture for a Two headed eagle surrounded by
rectangular , also we find protrusive sculpture in a human shape on the gate of Alaa el
din`s Mosque in Nigde ( 620 H / 1223 AD) and sculpture of animals shape on the gate of
Tschörgibii Yük`s angle in Nik sar of the 13 th AD century , also animal and human
sculpture were found on the graves in the 13 Th AD century in Afyon`s Karahisar in Turkey
- While in Egypt we find remainders of the Fatmids
castles in the Islamic Museum in Cairo that form images for Persons and animals in the
Othmanic Age drawing of flowers dominated . We find it in El Geoushy Mosque in (1144 H /
1731 ) also flowers drawings in white dominated on a black back ground in the ceiling we
see it in the ceiling of Seheimi House ( Cairo- Egypt 1796 AD ) and the palace of Abas the
first ( destructed) in the first half of 19 th century . |
