The Terrace is used when informers who repeat some of the Imam`s Phrases during the prayers , Deliver it to the back far lines

The terrace is found in El Qibla`s Wall  in  the mosques  or in the end of El Kibla`s Large Sitting ( IWAN ) room in the mosque , and is situated on El Mihrab pivot . It is usually made of wood and carried by columns of marble and reachable by a wooden stairs of many steps that has stock wooden handrail of low height .

    Making the marble terrace was so popular in the Jarkasi and el Bahari Mamluki age , It is likely that the oldest marble Terrace was this exists in the mosque of el Mas el Hajele ( 729-730H / 1329-1330AD)and it  was carried on marble columns too for example the
terrace existed in the school of Sultan Hassan .

While in the othmanic age the terrace situated in the walls before the Pulpit on a big high , reachable through a stairs in this wall ; and made of wood , carried either on a columns or wooden cables .
