1st.Revise the present perfect.
	
•       Ask: How can we form the present perfect? 

has / have + written  (p.p.)

•       Play the cassette, ask S to find out the sentences which contain on that tense.
•       I'll say that there is another tense like the previous one called the present perfect participle then write on the board: 

has / have + been + writing



Þ the present perfect: Here the number of things done in that time is the most important thing. 

Þ the present perfect participle: Here the time is the most important thing.


•       Open PB/59, read aloud the ins., others read aloud the examples Q's.
•       S say the answers.
•       Do the same with ex., B.


•       Open PB59, S read aloud the explanations and examples in box 1, introduce: Þ hectare: a measurement of area: 1 hectare is 100 metres by 100 metres.
•       Look at box 2, and box 3, S read aloud the explanations and examples.
•       Look at box 4,  S read aloud the explanations and examples.
•       Open PB/60-61, ex C. S read aloud the ins.
•       S ask and answer the Q's.
