Afactory is putting chemicals into the water. Point to the river and introduce it. • Point to a fish, ask: What is wrong with this fish? It is dead. Say: Yes, This fish died. Ask: Why did it die? Because of chemicals. Point to the foam and introduce it. Say: We can make foam with soap and water. Foam here is made by chemicals falling into the water. Ask: Where is this foam? in the water. No, it is on the surface of the water. • Point to the plane. What is the plane doing? The plane is putting the chemicals on the wheat by using special way. It is spraying chemicals onto the field of wheat. • Open PB/P85, read the title, explain “environment” : Object which are surrounded us. • S read the Q’s for each pic. S answer them. . • S read the title, look at P/40, point to the layers and say: There are several layers in the earth’s atmosphere. Point to the word “stratosphere” introduce it and ask: What can you see into the stratosphere? ozone (a form of the gas oxygen) (O3) layer. • Point to the ultraviolet rays, ask: What are these? Lights coming from the sun. These are rays (line of light). It is the hole in the ozone layer. • Look at the pic’s at the bottom, S read the captions, introduce: “air-conditioner”: the machine that provides air-conditioning.
