•   Show S the cards and the banknotes, S read and answer the Q’s, I’ll read the passage, S complete the sentences.
 
 
 
   •   S say the English alphabet, write these words on the board:

   •   Ask: Which of these words comes 1st in a dictionary?, remind S about using the second letter.
 
 
 
 
   •   Turn PB/P43, S read silently the explanations next to each word and pic. S answer the Q’s which are at the end of each.
 
 
 
   •   Turn PB/P42, read the passage again to answer some Q’s. Give S some sentences, they should say if they are T or F:
  1.  There were no Saudi banknotes before 1952. (TL1)
  2.  There were no coins in S.A before 1952. (FL1-2)
  3.  Pilgrims’ certificate appeared in 1961. (FL3-4) 1952
  4.  Coins are easier to carry than paper money. (FL7-8) why? Because coins are heavier
  5.  The newest Saudi banknotes appeared between 1967 and 1969. (FL11-13) in 1984
  6.  The newest Saudi 100-riyal note is brown, red and blue. (FL18-19) brown, red and green.
  7.  The value of 100-riyal note appear in English in all 4 corners( FL20-21,23) in Arabic in all four corners - In English : in three corners.
   •   Open WB/P31/ex. A. Read the ins’s, S’s answer.
